He took the throne at age eight and a half because his father was murdered, however his mother acted the role of king until Louis was thirteen.
He was Catholic.
He hadn't had much education when he was young.
He did have a powerful effect on the country.
One unknown fact is that he was bisexual which was very unusual for the time period.
